National Secretariat

The National Secretariat of GRASAG is located at the national capital and is made up of members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) elected annually by members at Congress. The NEC consists of the the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Organising Coordinator, the Financial Controller, and the Gender Commissioner that maintain and manage the day-to-day operations of GRASAG National in accordance with the GRASAG constitution. The members of the NEC subject to the Constitution of GRASAG hold office for one term only.

Kwasi Frimpong

Kwasi Frimpong SayItRight (officially called Nana Kwasi Asuman-Frimpong) is a Masters of Art Communication Studies student of the University of Ghana. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Education from the University of Education, Winneba and an Advanced Certificate in Communication and Governance from the KNUTSFord University College. He is a journalist by profession currently working with the Daily Statesman Newspaper.

He has worked with other renowned Media Organisations such as the Daily Guide Newspaper, Ghana’s biggest Private Newspaper and Second Biggest Newspaper and has worked as a freelancer for several other media organisations including Joyfm/Joy News TV, Starr FM/GHOne TVamong others. He manages his own Digital Newspaper ‘The Evening Mail Newspaper” and its website He is also a columnist for two news portals in Ghana, and

He is a talented writer basically into writing news reports, feature articles, fascinating short novels, captivating drama, poems etc in both Twi and English Languages. He has many write-ups of such nature to his credit, which have been published in a number of media platforms.

As a young journalist, Frimpong is a prolific reporter, very punctual at official programmes and adept at initiating stories, sometimes, without prompting from the office. He is privileged as a young reporter to have used his own initiative in developing a network of influential and resourceful friends at relevant levels that add to his propensity for developing and filing stories that are not only fresh and timely, but also essential in promoting development and good governance.

He has strong passion for the protection of the environment and this has won him two consecutive times best Journalist In Environmental Reporting awards at the annual awards night organized by the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Eastern Region Chapter. He exudes the needed competence and confidence to achieving organizational success. Kwasi Frimpong SayItRight is dexterous, hardworking, efficient and effective in executing whatever task given him to perform.

Financial Controller

Yussif Suleman

Yussif Suleman is student of KNUST studying Mphil Applied Mathematics and the Financial Controller of National GRASAG. He started his education from St Joseph's R/C Basic School Wenchi and continued to Wenchi Methodist Senior High School.

He is a teacher by profession with Diploma in Basic Education and Bachelor of Education from Berekum College of Education(BECOLED) and University of Education Winneba(UEW) Techiman Branch respectively. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology between 2012 and 2016.

As a student activist, he started his leadership role from basic school till now and he has held several positions including SRC representative BECOLED 2007, GMSA President BECOLED 2008, Unity Hall Educational Committee Chairman KNUST 2014, President, Association of Mathematics and Statistics Students KNUST 2015, Affiliate and Alumni Coordinator NUGS-KNUST 2016, President, National Association of Mathematics Students Ghana 2017, Senator Department of Mathematics KNUST 2018 and Deputy Speaker of GRASAG-KNUST Senate 2018.

Yussif Suleman has received several accolades in recognition of his selfless leadership and service. He remains devoted to championing excellent and transformational leadership across Nation and the rest of the world Insha Allah.
