Graduate students from authorized bursary-receiving institutions are invited to apply for the 2023/2024 academic year bursary. Please be aware that students from institutions not in good standing with the GRASAG National Secretariat will be unable to register. Students should verify their status with their local GRASAG Executives

HOW TO APPLY

Please adhere to these instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and successful application process.

Procedure:

  1. Input your index number, surname and university for validation.
  2. Proceed to fill in your personal, school and bank details.
  3. Preview and confirm your details are correct, then submit.
  4. Check for a confirmation email to ensure your application has been successfully submitted.

Name Consistency:

Ensure that the name on all application documents matches your bank account name.

Required Documents for Registration:

  1. A valid Student ID/Admission Letter
  2. Ghana card

Bank Account:

  1. Open an account at any Absa Bank branch. Existing Absa account holders may use their current accounts.
  2. Ensure the bank account is in your name and is active (not dormant).
  3. Payments will be made through bank accounts ONLY, no Mobile Money Accounts.
  4. Documents needed for account opening:
  • Primary documents: Student ID and Ghana Card.
  • If you do not have a Student ID, provide: Admission letter/inductor letter recent school fees receipt, and Ghana Card.
  1. Absa bank will be setting up account opening stands on various campuses. Dates will be announced soon. Students can also visit any Absa Bank branch to open an account.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:

Eligibility:

  1. Only registered graduate students for the 2023/2024 academic year at authorized bursary-receiving institutions are eligible to apply.
  2. Students from institutions whose local GRASAG Presidents have not submitted their list of registered graduate students for the 2023/2024 academic year to the GRASAG National Secretariat will be unable to register. Verify your status with your local GRASAG Executives.

 

Kindly take note:

If you cannot find your university listed on the bursary portal, it means that your local GRASAG President has not yet submitted the list of registered graduate students for the 2023/2024 academic year. We encourage all students who cannot find their university listed on the bursary portal to remind their local GRASAG Presidents to expedite the submission process.
